① Solid wood door: All doors are made of natural wood as the core,with no surface layer attached. The wood grain texture is clear and has astrong sense of overall integrity and three dimensionality. ② Solid wood composite door: Solid wood composite door is composed ofleather and door core. The skin is generally made of solid wood veneer or PVClaminated board. There are many types of door cores, such as solid wood core,woodworking mechanical board, perforated board, density board core, honeycombboard core, etc., and the prices are also uneven.

③ Molded door: The molded door is composed of leather and door core.One method is to cut and mill the density board into shape, then apply adhesiveto the PVC film and press it into shape by vacuum; Another method is to use drysquare wood to make a keel frame, and stick high-density fiber molded doorpanels with shapes and simulated wood grain on the keel frame, which aremechanically pressed and mostly hollow.

2. According to the painting process on the surface of the door panel,it can be divided into paint free doors, painted doors, and spray painteddoors.

① Paint free door: refers to wooden doors that do not require furtherpainting. The method is to fix a layer of PVC plastic film on the surface ofthe board under high temperature and high pressure conditions.

② Painted paint door: It needs to be coated with multiple layers ofprimer and topcoat, and the paint layers need to be continuously polishedbefore entering a dust-free room for high-temperature baking and shaping.

③ Spray painted door: It is to scrape putty on the board, spray painton the putty, and then air dry naturally.

2、 Advantages and disadvantages of various wooden doors

1. Solid wood door

① Advantages: good sound absorption, thermal insulation, highenvironmental friendliness;

② Disadvantages: The price is relatively expensive, and there is alarge price difference among different tree species. The market is chaotic, andit is difficult to distinguish between true and false, such as rubber woodbeing labeled as oak; Solid wood doors are prone to deformation and crackingdue to dehydration or moisture.

2. Solid wood composite door

① Advantages: Moderate price, not easily affected by moisture anddeformation, long service life, suitable for ordinary households to choosefrom;

② Disadvantages: There are many types of door core substrates, andthe quality of different types varies greatly. It is easy to pass off inferiormaterials as good, especially for density boards and honeycomb boards. Thequality of door cores is poor and the environmental protection coefficient islow. When purchasing, it is necessary to ask for the door core materialclearly.

3. Molded door

① Advantages: Low price, very economical and practical, suitable forrental housing;

② Disadvantages: Simple structure, poor tactile feel, and poor soundinsulation effect.

4. Comparison of paint free doors, painted doors, and spray painteddoors (with the same door core)

① Color: PVC film is used for unpainted doors, which can imitatevarious wood grain and color patterns. Painted doors and spray painted doorscan only display their own wood grain and color patterns or make pure colors;

② Price: Due to the complex process, painted doors have the highestprice, and doors with other decorative finishes cannot achieve a special glosseffect; The difference between painted doors and unpainted doors is not much;
